Questions and answers for prospective Traders

Q: Do I have to purchase a specific amount of products each month?

A: No, you can order as much or as little as you wish. To qualify for bonus payments, you do need to meet the volume criteria in the months in which you wish to be paid bonuses.

Q: Is there a minimum order?

A: No, you may order as much or as little as you want.

Q: Do I have to order every month?

A: No, that’s the beauty and simplicity of this business, you order whenever you want. There are no requirements to reach sales targets or monthly quotas. We have Traders who join for the sole purpose of fundraising for their chosen charity for three months out of each year, and we have Traders who, from day one, structure their business to take full advantage of all the reward benefits extra sales can bring. It is important to understand that this is their choice and they can take a sabbatical whenever they chose without any penalty.

Q: Does my agreement need to be signed by my sponsor?

A: No it is not essential once the original agreement has been received by Head Office, a copy will then be sent to your sponsor.

Q: Can I place an order to be shipped with my business kit?

A: Yes you may order extra items and we will ship everything together. Over 75% of new Traders purchase one of our Special Introductory Offer Starter Packs, which are only available at the time of joining.

Q: How long will it take for my business kit to arrive?

A: We will normally ship your business kit the day after receiving your agreement and payment. Actual shipping is 1-5 business days based on distance, we ship from our warehouse in Sydney, Australia. We ship to New Zealand every Friday; goods are fowarded to a local courier company on Monday for onward despatch.

Q: How many brochures are included in the business kit?

A: There are 30 brochures for use on their own plus one in each of the three information packs included in your business kit.

Q: How much will I pay for delivery of my orders?

Q: How long do orders take to arrive?

A: All orders will be shipped within a guaranteed four business days of receipt. Actual delivery depends on distance from our warehouse in Sydney, Australia . NZ shipments are despatched every Friday.

Q: Can I advertise on the internet or in publications?

A: Any advertising or promotion, direct or indirect, must be approved by the Head Office.

Permission to advertise on the internet is always refused. This applies to internet trading sites such as eBay, personal/commercial websites and the use of forums. We have no objection to Traders using forums to air their views on Phoenix, negative or positive and we have no wish to curtail people’s freedom to say what you like about us but we do wish to curb the unauthorised use of the internet to promote our business, product and opportunity.

When Traders advertise without our authority, there is a real danger that, inadvertently, claims are made about our proposition which misrepresent the offer and do not comply with the statutory notices that someone promoting a direct selling business needs to adhere to. There is also an issue of artist's copyright where images are used without permission.

Q: Can I sell to shops?

A: No. We operate only as a direct selling business and do not supply any retail outlets, although as a company we are approached regularly by shop proprietors. We think that sales through shops would create conflict between distribution channels and we make a clear statement in our literature that our products are available exclusively through Independent Phoenix Traders who operate a direct-to-consumer service.

Q: Can my daughter (who’s 17) become a Phoenix Trader?

A: To become a Trader you have to be over 18.
